This OEM anode replaces the quicksilver aluminum anode located on the side pockets on the gear housing just above the cavitation plate. For use on the following Mariner / Mercury engine models:
Mercury Mariner 40hp – 60hp Command Thrust or big foot gearbox
Mercury Mariner Outboard 40 Thru 250hp 2-Stroke & DFI Optimax
Force 90hp & 120 (1998 & newer)
